Negli ultimi decenni Canazei ha conosciuto una notevole espansione, ma senza dimenticarsi delle sue origini e tradizioni ladine, grande è infatti l'attenzione che riserva alla salvaguardia e alla cura degli usi e dei costumi della gente ladina.

Canazei ist sowohl ein Winter-als auch ein Sommerreiseziel, in einer schönen natürlichen Mulde am Fuße der dolomitischen Gruppen von Sassolungo, Sella-Pordoi und Marmolada. 
Von Canazei aus, starten die Straßen, die die dolomitischen Pässe von Sella, Pordoi und Fedaia erreichen. 
In Canazei befindet sich den Anfang vom Rund der Vier Pässe, das "Das Sellaronda". 
Sowohl das Klima als auch die Hightech-Anlagen bescheren unseren Gästen bis im Frühling verschneite Pisten und ermöglichen so eine verlängerte Skisaison.
In den letzen Jahren hat sich Canazei sehr verbreitet aber die kleine Stadt hat nicht die ladinischen Traditionen vergessen.

Canazei is a winter and summer resort, lying down in a wonderful large two handled bowl on foot of the Dolomites groups of Sassolungo, Sella-Pordoi and Marmolada. 
From Canazei it is possible reaching the known Dolomites passes of Sella, Pordoi and Fedaia. 
In Canazei, there is the starting point of the Tour of Four Passes, the renowned ski tour "The Sellaronda". 
The climate & the structures permit to have the snow on the slopes also until spring time, so it is possible skiing longer. 
In the last tens years Canazei has seen a remarkable expansion, but never it has forgotten its Ladin origins and traditions. In fact there is big attention to preserve and take care of customs and usages of Ladin people.
